NY Times furhter restricts free access to its online articles

American daily newspaper 'The New York Times' has announced to cut its free access to its online content from 20 to 10 articles per month.

NY Times, America's one of the most prestigious and popular news papers has announced to reduce its free subscription of the its digital content available for online PC users, smart phones and table devices.

However, it has also added that it would allow to access 10 free digital contents per month on web, smartphones and tablets.

The news firms offers three subscription plans from US$15 to $35 per month for its digital content.

In order to motivate more subscribers, it is offering first four-week subscription at 99 cents per months.

Currently, NY Times and its other publication the International Herald Tribune (IHT) have a total 454000 subscribers, media sources informed.
