United Nations Industrial Development Organization is a particularized agency of the United Nations with its headquarters in Vienna. Austria came into existence in 1966 with the ambition to increase and enrich the industrial growth of the world and to demolish the differences between the countries in industrial sector and bring them to an equal level of growth. The major goals of the agency are mitigation of poverty through productive activities, development of energy and sustainable environment for the peaceful living of man. In order to carry out these goals UNIDO assists the underdeveloped and developing countries in industrial and energy sector for their significant progress thus fulfilling their aims and much needed goals. It acts as a consultant among the countries in providing them technology as well as finance to make progress in international as well as human index development. The primary focus of the UNIDO is poverty reduction and the growth of per capita income in the under developing countries through economic equality and millennium development goals. UNIDO has 172 members through out the world in which its programme is going on in full swing with great success. Trade capacity building is another focus of UNIDO that it activates in many countries by bringing the international economy to an equal rate thus bringing similarity in the world trade.
