Washington, Apr 2 (ANI): Taylor Swift has announced her ambition to begin a run as a fully-fledged star of the silver screen.
The 22-year-old singer, who tasted success with the film Dr Seuss' The Lorax, in which she voices the character Audrey, admitted that she had long been harbouring a desire to take to acting, having been reading scripts since 2007.
"I've been reading scripts for about five years- just kind of under the radar, asking my agents to please send me everything that might be good," Contactmusic quoted her as telling Entertainment Inquirer.
The 'Romeo and Juliet' singer first appeared on the silver screen with a small role in the film 'Valentines Day', a role that severely wetted her appetite for acting roles. (ANI)
