Its time for Villas-Boas to face crisis, says Wenger

London, Wed, 15 Feb 2012 ANI

London, Feb 15(ANI): Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has told Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas that it's his turn now to face a crisis.

Arsenal leapfrogged Chelsea for the fourth position after beating Sunderland 2-1 and Chelsea losing to Everton 2-0 on Saturday.

"The crisis in England is a bit like fire, it moves quickly from one club to another. We can't consider too much if it's us or Chelsea who suffers," The Sun quoted Wenger, as saying.

Villas-Boas is under tremendous pressure to save his job after reports emerged that Chelsea players had slammed his tactics during a meeting.

But Arsenal also faces a crunch week ahead as they face a Champions League trip to AC Milan tonight followed by an FA Cup visit to Sunderland.

Wenger warned his team over complacency and said: "We must be cautious, this crisis can quickly come back to us in a strong wind. We paid a heavy price for our start but it's not impossible to catch the top three." (ANI)
