Allahabad, July 20 (ANI): The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) activists protested against the remarks of senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh on the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS).
Expressing anger over Singh's comments agitators said that he has lost his mental balance.
"It seems that he (Digvijay Singh) has lost his mental balance. He cannot blame any Hindu group for blasts or illegal activities in the country. We have all gathered here to condemn his remarks, that are communal and have hurt sentiments. We also demand that he should stop barking like a dog. If he does not stop maligning groups like us, we would take stringent actions against him and continue such agitations," asserted Pawan Srivastava, an activist.
Digvijay Singh had recently claimed that he had evidence of involvement of RSS in militant activities except the latest serial explosions in Mumbai.
Speaking to media persons, Singh said he still stands by the allegations made by him, as he has sufficient evidence in his possession against the RSS.
"I have said that I will not rule out anything. Let the investigative agencies inquire it. Yes, if they want evidences about Sangh's involvement in terrorist activities, I have got evidences but not in this case. I have already said on my part that I will not rule out anything," he said.
Singh had earlier invited the wrath of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over his 'dancer comments' on Sushma Swaraj whilst she was protesting against corruption in the country in New Delhi. (ANI)
