Congress says, Parliament to decide on anti-corruption law

Amidst the ongoing Anna's fast on Jantar Mantar, Congress has insisted that Anna is free to fast as per his desire but Lolpal bill is made for the parliament to make the law.

Congress spokesperson Rashid Alvi told that the government is committed to a strong Lokpal but it is for the parliament to decide what kind of law has to be made. Commenting on the Anna's charge that govt. is not committed to a strong Lokpal , he said that people can have different view on things.

Meanwhile on Jantar Mantar a large crowd gathered in support of Anna's one day fast. Apart from this the major cities of the country have witnessed fast in support of Anna. Like Delhi, people started fast in support of Anna in major part of the countries including Kolkatta, Hyderabad, Patna, Kanpur etc.
