US police arrest two white men on charges of Tulsa 'racist' attacks

Washington, April 9 (ANI): The US police have arrested two white men on charges of alleged racist attacks on three black people in three separate incidents in Tulsa.

Out of the three attacked, two victims have been admitted to the hospital and are in critical condition, while one died on the spot.

According to the BBC, the police had arrested the men from a home in Tulsa following an anonymous tip-off. They have been taken into custody for questioning.

The suspects named Jake England and Alvin Watts by the Oklahoma police are expected to face three counts of first-degree murder and two of shooting with intentions of killing.

Tulsa police spokesman Jason Willingham said that the police were still interrogating three suspects and were hopeful to know the motive behind the attacks.

He, however, could not confirm whether the suspects were armed when they were taken into custody.

Tulsa Police Chief Chuck Jordan had earlier said that officers would do whatever it took to bring perpetrators of "vicious and cowardly attacks" to book.he north Tulsa area, where the shootings took place, is a predominantly black area, although police have yet to establish a motive. (ANI)
