London, Mar 17 (ANI): Napster co-founder Sean Parkerhas has claimed that Spotify music streaming service will overtake Apple's iTunes within two years.
"If Spotify continues growing at its current rate in terms of subscribers and users, we will overtake iTunes in terms of the amount of revenue we contribute to the music labels in under two years," Parkerhas, the Spotify and Facebook investor said.
According to The Telegraph, he continued his onslaught against the world's most popular download store, saying 'even the iTunes store, to this day, is so slow.'
Parker followed up his comment with mocking spinning hand gestures to signal how slow he thought the service was.
Parker also discussed the various lawsuits taken out against Napster and the service's first eventual demise, when it was forced to shut down in 2001.
Napster came back on to the digital music scene in 2003, but as a shadow of its former disruptive self, having repositioned itself as a legal music download service. (ANI)
