YSR Congress accuses media baron for trying to defame Jagan Mohan Reddy

Hyderabad, Mar 9 (ANI): YSR Congress Party on Friday said that a media baron was working against the party to defame YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and try to gain mileage in the ensuing by-election.

"The request of a media baron to provide security to him and his group of companies as he perceives threat following the possible arrest of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is nothing but a ploy to confuse Kovur voters before the by-elections," party spokesperson Ambati Rambabu told reporters here.

Rambabu further said that the media baron should first reveal the source how did he get the information that Jagan would get arrested.

"In the first place the media man should first spell out as to where from did he get the news that Jagan would be arrested, which is the premise of his request to provide security. How did he foresee that there would be loss to his property?" he asked.

He also added that the press should be asking why a person will be arrested instead of writing that someone will be arrested without showing any plausible evidence.

The spokesperson iterated that the ploy is only to defame YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and try to gain some support on the eve of the by-elections. (ANI)
