New Delhi, Mar 5 (ANI): Congress President Sonia Gandhi has returned home after a routine medical checkup abroad and is said to be absolutely fine.
"As informed earlier, Congress President Sonia Gandhi had gone abroad for a routine check up after six months of her operation. She has come back today morning and she is absolutely fine," said Congress General Secretary Janardhan Dwivedi.
Gandhi, 64, had gone abroad for medical check up in the last week of February.
The UPA chairperson had earlier travelled to the United States for surgery in August last year, and spent nearly six weeks there.
Gandhi had returned from the United States on September 8.
Gandhi had then constituted a four-member team comprising her son and party General Secretary Rahul Gandhi, Defence Minister AK Antony, her political advisor Ahmed Patel and party General Secretary Janardhan Dwivedi to look after party affairs in her absence. (ANI)
