Kejriwal's 'rapist-MPs' remark: Team Anna in line with BJP, alleges Digvijay

Lucknow, Feb 27 (ANI): Condemning remarks made by Arvind Kejriwal, Congress leader Digvijay Singh on Monday said that the former must explain in which type of system he believes in, and alleged that Team Anna always reiterates the line of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and never says anything against them.

"Mr. Kejriwal should tell us what kind of democratic system does or type of government he believes in, if he feels that the parliament and its functioning is up to the mark according to him. Does he believe in dictatorship or one party rule?" Singh told the media here.

"You can also see that Team Anna always reiterates the line of the Bharatiya Janata Party. These people will never say anything against the BJP. The Congress Party is always on their target," he added.

Addressing a gathering in Uttar Pradesh"s Greater Noida city on Saturday, Kejriwal said: "All types of elements have entered Parliament, including "robbers, murderers and rapists". Parliament has become the biggest problem of the country. It is now essential to change its character."

Terming the ongoing probe against corrupt politicians to be a mere drama, Kejriwal said the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has become a tool in the hands of the ruling UPA Government.

"Suresh Kalmadi, A. Raja and Kanimozhi are sent to jail for just a few days and come out very quickly," he said.

Kejriwal's remarks have, however, drawn sharp criticism from the leaders of various political outfits including the BJP. (ANI)
