BJP to expose Sheila Dikshit Government through chargesheet

New Delhi , Fri, 17 Feb 2012 ANI

New Delhi, Feb.17 (ANI): The BJP Legislative Party met under the chairmanship Vijay Kumar Malhotra here on Friday and decided to prepare a detailed chargesheet against the Sheila Dikshit Government on issues like rampant corruption and failure on all other fronts.

Malhotra said that during the forthcoming elections in Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD), BJP councillors would launch a massive door-to-door campaign to highlight the deep rooted corruption in Delhi Government.

He said Dikshit had released some statistical data to show the increased per capita income of Delhites and took the credit for the same. But the fact is that the per capita income shows the average income of all Delhites, which include a few who have multi-million income, whereas over 60 percent of Delhi's population lives in slums, juggi-jhopri colonies and unauthorized colonies.

Malhotra claimed that Dikshit has made the lives of Delhites miserable by enhancing the rates of water, electricity and transport.

Malhotra said over a million people are unemployed in Delhi and accused Dikshit of promoting the contractor culture in the city.

Malhotra instructed BJP MLAs not only to visit their own constituencies but also other constituencies and highlight the failure and corruption of the Sheila Dikshit Government

This was the only way Congress Party would be defeated in the forthcoming MCD elections. (ANI)
