Jagan Mohan Reddy has emulated his father: YSR Congress

Hyderabad, Feb 16 (ANI): YSR Congress on Thursday took strong objection to the remarks of Telegu Desam Party (TDP) chief N. Chandrababu Naidu on parenting, and said YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has stepped into the shoes of YSR in reaching the people.

"YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been reaching out to the people and has emulated his father and Naidu, who was rejected for two terms, has been in frustration and speaking through his hat," party official spokesperson AmbatiRambabu told reporters here.

When it comes to parenting, he said, Naidu should spell out the details of where from the amount of Rs 60 crores came for the education of his son Lokesh in US.

"The truth has to come out one day or the other. Parenting and family values are something alien to Naidu and he need not tutor others on the subject," Ambati said.

Commenting on the High Court verdict that dismissed the petition filed against Chandrababu Naidu, he said: "The High Court verdict is not the final one and we have legal options to explore."

On Naidu's comment that 35 cases were foisted against him along with four inquiries and 11 House Committees, Ambati said, most of the cases did not run the full course.

"A House Committee has indicted Naidu in the Heritage Foods case and Chief Justice Ghulam Ahmed had ruled that a CBI inquiry should be conducted into Naidu's disproportionate assets case," he said.

"While people rejected TDP in two successive terms, since 2009 TDP did not even get deposit in a single election it had fought," he added. (ANI)
