New Delhi, Jan 24 (ANI): Communist Party of India (CPI) leader A B Bardhan has accused the Congress party-led Central Government of avoiding consultations with the Left Front before taking crucial decision on vital issues.eleasing the draft of a CPI political resolution here on Monday, Bardhan said that several times Parliament has witnessed the high handedness of the Congress party, and asserted the need of a Left Front in the democratic system.
"As you see in Parliament that they don't even consult, many times you see the Congress and the BJP, try to settle affairs on the issues of economic policies. The UPA government has tried to carry through many issues, by just talking to the BJP," Bardhan added.
On the issue of massive corruption, he said it was due to the neo- liberal policies followed by different governments.
"If corruption is a basic issue in our country nowadays and people are mobilised on that issue, it is also because corruption had got a very big boost due to this policy of neo- liberalism. Of course corruption has its roots deeper, we know that, we acknowledge that, but if corruption has reached Himalayan proportions now-a-days, it is because of the policy of neo liberalism," said Bardhan.
