New Delhi, Jan 17 (ANI): Congress Party on Tuesday hit out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Government led by Shivraj Singh Chouhan in Madhya Pradesh for stashing unaccounted wealth.
Congress leader B K Hariprasad said the Madhya Pradesh Government under the leadership of Shivraj Singh Chouhan was the most corrupt government in the country.
"As the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh says, he is the number one chief minister of the country. He is number one in corruption. The raids, which have been conducted at the homes and offices of the top officials and the crores, which were found, this proves that the most corrupt government is the Madhya Pradesh Government and Bharatiya Janata Party," said Hariprasad.
Hariprasad also hit out at Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, over an advertisement that compares Modi to Swami Vivekanand, known for hailing social reform in India.
"If they compare themselves with Swami Vivekanand then they should be directly sent to mental hospital," said Hariprasad.
Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singh also echoed similar sentiments, and said that there is a minor difference between Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
"If raids are conducted at ministers' places then instead of a small amount you will get crores of rupees and you will get crores of rupees at a chief minister's place. The state is being plundered and there is a minor difference between Mayawati and Shivraj Singh Chouhan," he said. (ANI)
