Roshanara Bagh is one of the most beautiful Mughal Gardens of Delhi. It is well preserved and is in very good condition. This garden has various varieties of flowers even some are brought from outside India. People can also see various species of birds that have made this garden their home.
Roshanara Tomb is also situated here where Roshanara was buried. It is built in the middle of the garden and four pathways lead to four direction of garden.
It also has a Roshanara Club, which was started by British and is present till today.
History of Roshanara Bagh:
The history says that Roshanara Bagh Garden was built and designed by Roshanara who was second daughter of Shah Jahan. It was built in the year 1650.
Roshanara was the sister of Aurangzeb and took his side during the crown struggle. She had love for money, gold and had lots of lover. This later angered Aurangzeb who ordered her to stay in her palace in Roshanara Bagh. Later when she was caught with another lover, she poisoned herself.

Coronation Park is the place where mighty Delhi Darbars were held during the time of British. Queen Victoria was named Empress of India here and also it is the place where the shift of capital from Calcutta to Delhi was declared.
