The famous Mughal Garden were built during the reign of Mughals in India. These gardens depict the Islamic and Persian style. A visit to Mughal Garden Delhi is must during the month of February when they are open every year. The Mughal Gardens are the main tourist attraction of Delhi.

Overview of Mughal Park Delhi

The Mughal Park is spread over 6 hectares and is famous for there lush green area inside the Rashtrapati Bhawan. The main attraction of the garden is running water, a pool, trees of various sorts, colorful and sweet-smelling flowers.

There are two channels, which divide the Mughal Garden into perfect squares. One runs from North to South and the other from East to West.

Also there are 6 fountains designed in lotus shape.

There are few sections of Mughal Garden like Butterfly Garden, Rose Garden, Terrace Garden, Purda Garden and a Circular Garden.

Though almost all the Mughals contributed in one or the other Mughal Gardens built throughout India, the one built in Delhi were the major works of Shah Jahan.

Cathedral Church of Redemption:

Cathedral Church of Redemption is situated near Mughal Garden Delhi . It was built by Henry Medd in the year 1935. It took 8 years to built this church.
