In India generally are found caste-based politics due to the presence of many castes as well as classes in Indian society. As such Golden India party is a regional political party mostly found in the Indian states of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh with a minority among the least numbers of people. The party was established in the year 1998 having appointed P.C.Lunia as the president and Sunil Bhantia the secretary. The chief target of the party remained to fight against communalism, the most vulnerable and serious disease affecting India and is the measure to disharmonize the country by bringing divisions and disintegrate the sects living in it. The GIP advocated the equal status of all irrespective of class, caste, race, gender etc. The party has minor political representation in Jaipur and Lucknow, two of the Indian cities.

The BJP-MGP coalition defeated Congress in Goa by a large margin, the coalition made victory on 24 seats out of 40. Manohar Parrikar, who led the BJP's campaign and cornered congress for the illegal mining is all set to be the next chief minister.
Riding on the waves of anti-incumbency congress won 32 seats out of 70 seats and became single largest party but it could not achieve the magic figure of 36 that is required for the majority. The incumbent BJP is just behind with 31 seats.
Unaffected by anti-incumbency BJP-SAD alliance came to power in Punjab. With this historic victory it has become the first coalition government to return to power defying anti-incumbency.
The results of polls in state are not encouraging for the congress. Except state of Manipur where it has managed to remain in power, it seems that this national party is fading its charm.
