Jehaad, Vatanparasti, Fatwa, Gaddaari........ enough of these terms now. Does the 'Kaum' crucifying the other one, considers itself to be the mighty one? Just because one is committing the brutal and savage act on the name of Allah, he thinks he is 'Paak' or 'stainless'? Does he seriously think he carries no stigma on his apparel?
Inhabiting a tunnel he dreams of conquering the whole universe. He will fire blast everything to pieces till he doesn't meet his purpose. And the weirdest thing is – He will pretend to the world that he is a messenger of god, that he is committing the heinous crime in the name of the almighty.
So what would you call him? Some of you might address him just another maniac who needs to be kept alongwith the psychic patients in the mental hospital; while others would call him a dangerous threat to humanity gone out-of-wits; yet others would pity upon him as a meagre mind person who has undergone a painful brainwash at the hands of savage missionaries.
But the key point of the success of those powers is religion itself. They would mould the face of religion and god to meet their own ends. They alter the terms and conditions of the religion to serve their own purpose. Their god is not the 'Preserver' but the 'Destroyer'.
Their next step is to work upon the minds of those weak, degenerate brains who have not even yet experienced the treasures and beauty of the world. They are caught and forcibly shown the other side of the world – the ugly face of the religion. Their minds are invaded with crave for 'revenge' and establishment of their own religion irrespective of any humanly brotherhood emotions. Words like – peace, tranquillity and compassion are absent from their dictionary.
In such an arena, there is no space for any change, any alteration, and any improvement. So I propose a better option. It may sound absurd and invincible to many, but it is definitely a concrete one.
What about building a nation regardless of the distinction of religion, community and culture? If we can bear so much bloodshed and violence, and we can't find any restrictive measure to stop it – can't we go ahead to voice against the religion politics?
If religion is the base for every violence, erasing the religion barriers seems to be the only alternative at this point. The divine power ruling the world is one, only being addressed by different names and in different ways. If we understand and accept this fact – why do we trace our steps back from implementing it? Why not build a world where all religions are same and carry no distinctions among them, all communities are one and all societies are equal. Why can't we hold the torch high for the establishment of universal brotherhood?
So I propound this idea not in front of the ruling section, but the 'Aam Janata' of the nation. A handful of people sitting in their safe chambers can't get the things in the right order for us; it is we who need to snatch the power from the power makers and the law-making bodies. We will have to decide our destiny ourselves, whether we wish to continue spending every moment in terror or walk out from our comfort zone, to sweep off the terror.
A No-Community society is the call of the hour and we need to attend upon it.
