After launching a slew of new stylish mobile phone in Indian market in the Mobile Asia 2008 held in New Delhi in March, and appointing actor Aamir Khan its brand ambassador, the SAMSUNG Telecommunications India (STI), has recently launched an entry-level handset Guru200 to woo Indian customer at a price tag of Rs. 2,999.
With all basic mobile handset features at this range, the Guru is enabled with an array of features such as stereo FM radio and recording and ‘Hinglish’ database including calendar of local holidays, which enables users to communicate in both in English and Hindi language.
Apart from preloaded Bollywood ringtones, users can record up to 5 minutes of FM radio songs and can later use them as alarms or custom ringtones.
Living up to its promise of ‘Next is What?, this new addition in the series of Guru adds stereo FM recording as ‘Next’ key feature in addition to MP3 songs, Java Games, mobile tracker.
While launching the phone Sunil Dutt, the Country Head, Samsung Telecommunications India said, “Guru 200 offers a strong value proposition to consumers at the entry level mobile phone segment. True to our ‘Next is What’ Campaign, this one offers FM recording as the ‘Next’ key feature in its latest Guru series of handsets.”
The call time limit feature allows users to track their call time by setting a total unit of calls per month or even single call in order frame their talk time.
