New Delhi, Jan 4 (ANI): The Prime Minister of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Kamla Persad-Bissessar, will be on a nine-day state visit to Indian beginning on Thursday.
A ceremonial reception will be held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan at round 10 a.m. on Friday in her honour.
Thereafter, Kamla Persad-Bissessar will offer her respects to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi by laying a wreath at his Samadhi at the Rajghat at around 10 : 30 a.m.
External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna will call on the Prime Minister of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago at the Oberoi Hotel at around 11: 15 a.m. on Friday.
Kamla Persad-Bissessar will then attend a Business Meeting organized by FICCI/CII/ASSOCHAM at the Taj Mahal Hotel at round 12: 45 p.m.
She will later in the day call on Vice President Mohamad Hamid Ansari . Thereafter, there will be a meeting with Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh during which delegation-level talks will take place between the two nations.
The visiting dignitary will also visit Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kolkata, Patna, Bhelupur and Mumbai during the visit. (ANI)
