New Delhi, Dec 29 (ANI): There was an uproar in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday as Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) lawmaker Rajniti Prasad expressing disappointment with the government's version of the Lokpal tore the anti-graft bill in the House.
Prasad snatched the Bill from the hands of Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) V. Narayanswami while debating the Lokpal Bill in the House.
A heated debate is on in Rajya Sabha over the Lokpal and Lokayukta Bill as the bill has been passed by the Lok Sabha with certain amendments regarding the provisions of Lokayukta, keeping the armed forces and coast guard outside the purview of the Lokpal and regarding provisions for initiating inquiry against the Prime Minister.
