Imphal, Dec 25 (ANI): The President of Bharatiya Janata Party's Manipur Unit, Shantikumar Sharma, has accused the ruling Congress Party of being unable to tackle the problems arising in the state, and said that the ruling party would be wiped out in the upcoming elections.
"The government without any fulfilled solution, no solution in all the respect, any blockade, any insurgency issue, any turmoil issue, no solution at all, without solution they have finished their terms," he told the media here.
Meanwhile, Manipur Power Minister Gaikhangam Gangmei has said that there is a possibility that some miscreants may try to disturb the election process but in the end people's power would prevail.
"I think the liking and the disliking of the people and the minds of the people cannot be swayed away by that violence, I think because that can be ... in the last many years. This time also, I think somebody will come up, some miscreants will be disturbing the election process and all," said Gangmei, who is also the President of Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee.
"I think that will not be much factor because ultimately the people's power will prevail," he added.
