'Romeo of writing' Salman Rushdie still a hit with ladies

New York, Dec 3 (ANI): Salman Rushdie may be a well-respected writer, but his way with women makes his persona even more interesting.

The 64-year-old has been associated with many beautiful women in the past including model Padma Lakshmi.

Recently, he publicly slapped down self-styled socialite Devorah Rose who had eagerly tweeted to the world that she had dined with the literary ladies' man.

Rushdie was "mortified" to have been linked to self-styled socialite Devorah Rose, and told the New York Post that he was "embarrassed" by the association.

Meanwhile, Rose insists Rushdie sent her romantic Facebook messages, including one that told her how "hottt" [sic] she was. (ANI)
