Beijing, Oct 13 (ANI): Chinese artist and government critic Ai Weiwei, who was imprisoned earlier this year has been named the most powerful person in the art world.
Ai Weiwei was ranked as the top artist in the annual Power 100 list, compiled by ArtReview, after he spent more than two months in detention this summer.he Beijing-based artist, who last year paved Tate Modern's monumental Turbine Hall with 100 million porcelain sunflower seeds was ranked number one as a result of his activism.
