London, Oct 5 (ANI): Nancy Dell'Olio has revealed that she feels her disappointing performance on 'Strictly Come Dancing' was framed by some mischief maker.
BBC bosses are investigating into the matter after the 50-year-old Italian lawyer's mint green gown was discovered completely drenched and with its hemline ripped ahead of her performance with professional dancer Anton Du Beke.
Dell'Olio was left badly shaken by the incident as her frilly frock had been hastily dried and tacked up before her performance, and was further humiliated when she tripped over her feather boa during a poor performance that scored her just 12 points out of 40.
"The dress was hanging with all the others on the communal rail outside the dressing room area," the Mirror quoted a studio insider as saying.
"After having her make-up done Nancy went to collect it and saw it had had water chucked all over it. It was drenched.
"Also the hem had been altered, it was fraying. Nancy was stunned. She was asking 'Whodunnit?' but no one had any answers. It was pretty strange.
"The wardrobe department tidied up the worst of the damage but it disarmed Nancy. She felt it badly hampered her dance," the insider added. (ANI)
