Islamabad, Sep.28 (ANI): The Capital Development Authority has termed as fake the drawings of the map of the Chak Shahzad farmhouse submitted by Pervez Mushrraf's aide a few days ago.
According to the Pakistaninewspapers.info web site, city managers are still indecisive over the exact covered area of the farmhouse owned by Musharraf in the P and V Scheme No II Park Road area of Chak Shahzad.
"According to drawings provided, the covered area of the farmhouse fall within the permissible limit, but according to CDA record it covers approximately 764 square feet in excess of the permitted limit," said the official. "Now it is proved that original drawing of the farmhouse was not submitted by them with CDA," an official said.
"It is because of such delaying tactics that still CDA is engaged in just futile exercise of correspondence with the administration of the farmhouse and not taking any step to remove the extra covered area," the official added.
Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, the spokesperson for the former President, on September 15 while talking to The Nation has confirmed that they had handed over the original drawings of the map to the Authority.
"Owing to the security issues of the then president, the intelligence agencies have suggested to keep the original drawings confidential. However, a few days ago, CDA has requested us through a letter to handover the original drawings of the map and we did so. And now its in the possession of the Authority," Saif was quoted by The Nation as saying. (ANI)
