Coimbatore, Sep 22 (ANI): In an endeavour to educate the students about the India-America relations, the American Consulate General hosted a travelling exhibition in Coimbatore.
The exhibition sought to make the students aware of the facilities available at the American library in Chennai.
"What we do is bring a library to small universities and large universities, to show the students the resources we have at the US consulate general in Chennai. Even in Coimbatore, one can have membership to the Chennai library and we will send you library books and we will send you information"
The objective is to showcase the resources of the American library in Chenna , said Corinna.C.Ybarra Arnold, Cultural Officer, United States Consulate General, Chennai.
The students showed keen interest in the exhibition as they read the books and posters on display.
"I have gone through all books here and it's really knowledgeable and helpful for us" said Hellan, a student.
It was the first time that the American Consulate has taken its exhibition to take it to tier-2 cities. (ANI)
