Washington, Sept 17 (ANI): Musician Wyclef Jean has revealed that he is a huge fan of Sarah Palin and admires her for her maverick spirit and approach to politics, which makes sense to him.
According to WWD, the 41-year-old who had attempted to run for president of his native Haiti last year before being disqualified, and had once admitted to MTV that he belonged to President Obama's group from the very beginning, has now admitted that he admires the 47-year-old politician, as he finds her to be "rad, shrewd and cool" and a kindred spirit.
"I have to tell you this: I am a huge fan of Sarah Palin," Fox News quoted her as saying.
"Cause she's rad. She's shrewd. She's cool. Because at the end of the day, I'm for the people, because this is the United States of America...this is what America's really about.
"Anyone should have the right to say, 'Look I can do the job and this is what qualifies me to do the job.'....Now my wife probably will debate and disagree with me.
"I'm not saying she could be the next president, you know, but there's something about her.
"Heavy debates in my house. Whenever I say Sarah Palin, people think I'm crazy, but I like her, I do. I can like whoever. This is America, right?" he added. (ANI)
