London, Sept 4 (ANI): David Beckham and Robbie Keane's wives are teaming up for the launch of Victoria's Beckham's autumn and winter collection.
The 27-year-old former Miss Ireland contestant Claudine Keane has been lined up with several other L.A Galaxy WAGs to model clothes for Posh's US fashion collection.
"They've already formed a strong bond on the pitch and it seems their wives are becoming a pretty strong team off it too," the Daily Star quoted a teammate of Beckham as saying.
The 31-year-old Ireland striker's wife "jumped at the chance" to model for Beckham's wife, whose upscale jeans sell for more than 185 pound per pair in high-end stores.
"Victoria felt the upcoming launch of her latest collection would provide Claudine with an ideal opportunity to help her establish herself in the States," a source close to the Beckhams said.
"She also wants some of the other wives and girlfriends to wear her clothes in magazine and Internet ads that will lead up to a big Christmas push.
"But mainly she wants Claudine to feel welcome in L.A. which can be a pretty unfriendly place when you don't know too many people there," the source added. (ANI)
