Sydney, Aug 31 (ANI): Brad Pitt has revealed that he was "obsessed" with making his new movie 'Moneyball'.
The movie, based on the true story of a baseball team manager who revolutionised the sport by introducing a form of statistical analysis, has faced more than the standard Hollywood hurdles in nearly a decade of its development.
The flick was on the brink of being filmed two years ago but Sony pulled the plug and one of its directors, Sodeburgh left, with Pitt holding it together all alone in a "dark week".
Soon it underwent another rewrite and a near complete recasting with a plot summary that reads more like an economics textbook.
"I don't mind the struggle as long as the work amounts to something in the end," the Sydney Morning Herald quoted Pitt as saying. (ANI)
