Ajmer, Aug 8 (ANI): Eunuchs on Sunday offered prayers at the shrine of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishty in Ajmer for the speedy recovery of Congress President Sonia Gandhi, who successfully underwent a surgery on August 4.
Meanwhile, locals asserted that prayers in the holy month of Ramadan are always answered
"The shroud was offered at Gharib Nawaz for Sonia. May god blesses her with good health and she comes back very soon and we would also pray that once she completely recovers, she should visit here," he said.
Gandhi was shifted out of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a hospital in the US where she was operated upon for an undisclosed ailment, a senior party leader said on Saturday.
However, her condition at present is believed to be stable and she is expected to be away for two to three weeks. (ANI)
