New Delhi, August 2 (ANI): A teacher in a key Chinese university received an SMS from one of her students, threatening dire consequences if higher grades were not awarded to him.
Yang Hua (alias) from Nanjing city, the capital of East China's Jiangsu province, received the message on July 17, cursing her family to death for giving him a low grade, China Youth Daily reported.
Yang received three more messages the same day, demanding she enhance the scores between 65 and 75 to 90 or face retaliation.
The student allegedly threatened to take vengeance against Yang and her son if his demand was not met.
Yang traced the identity of the student by tracking the phone number. The student named Li Ming (alias) had been given a low pass grade.
The teacher then reported the matter to police.
The student later sent a text message to apologise for his behaviour and claimed he acted on impulse as he felt the grade was unfair.(ANI)
