New-age GNIIT cloud campus in Dimapur

Dimapur, June 26 (ANI): NIIT Limited, leading Global Talent Development Corporation and Asia's largest IT trainer, announced the launch of new-age GNIIT programme that can be pursued anywhere anytime, by leveraging the unique cloud learning methodology.

 

It is an initiative beyond the traditional classroom based student-teacher relationship.he new age technology will enhance the technical education in the region.

 

" We are giving them flexibility out of their classrooms. They can connect to us anytime, as we are having experts available round the clock. There will be a dedicated website where the students can login and they can get list of zones including expert zone, knowledge zone, and 24x7 lap through which student can be connected," said Pradipta Bhattacharyya, Regional Product Manager, NIIT

 

Cloud computing is a phenomenon of the 21st century, an all new services delivery model that uses the Internet as a platform. According to independent technology and market research firm Forrester Research, cloud computing is a "standardised IT capability, such as software application platform or infrastructure, delivered via Internet technologies in a pay-per-use and self-service way."

 

Cloud computing, owing to its 24x7, any-time, anywhere availability, flexibility, ability to scale, and cost-effective payment model, is proving to be a big boon for different industry segments, key among them being education.

 

It is now possible to take high-quality education-including content, and instruction-to the far reaches of the country, using Cloud platform. This educational content can be delivered to people at their doorsteps through the Cloud, "as a service."

 

The Cloud offers learners the flexibility to get trained in "what they want, when they want and where they want," in an affordable and convenient fashion.

 

It also makes possible the implementation of a universal curriculum across the nation, enabling students across India to enjoy the same experience in education. (ANI)
