Kabul, June 21 (ANI): The Hamid Karzai Government in Afghanistan hasormally complained to the Pakistan about its alleged shelling offghan villages.
According to the Daily Times, Afghanistan's Foreign Minister Zalmaiassoul has spoken to Pakistan's Ambassador to Afghanistan overhelling by the Pakistani military of villages in the Sarkano districtf Kunar province, close to the border that separates the twoountries.
The paper quoted a Afghan foreign ministry statement, as saying: "Theoreign minister expressed the Afghan side's concern for the shellingf Afghan villages by Pakistani artillery ... and conveyed the Afghanovernment's request for such shelling to stop."
The statement further said: "The recent shelling has caused casualtiesmong Afghan civilians."
A Pakistan Army statement on Sunday said the air and ground assaultad killed 25 terrorists and that others had fled across the border.ANI)
