Gurgaon (Haryana), June 17 (ANI): The 13-day long strike at Maruti Suzuki India's Manesar plant here was called off late on Thursday night following a deal between the workers and the management.
According to the deal, the Maruti Suzuki management will reinstate all the sacked eleven workers.
The management will also take a lenient approach on enforcing no-work-no- pay rule of eight day's salary cut for every single day of the strike.
The workers at the Manesar plant have also accepted the demands of the management of not permitting the formation of a second union in the company.
According to reports, the company lost production of 12,600 units valued at about Rs. 630 crores during the strike period. (ANI)
