Dimapur, June 1 (ANI): To encourage youth to find out more about live sound management, a three-day workshop was recently held here.
Organized under the aegis of Crescendo and sponsored by the Music Task Force, the workshop focused on how to generate a better quality sound output during stage shows and concerts.
Over 50 students who turned up were provided both practical and theoretical knowledge about music and sound system management.
The entire course was free of cost.
"I believe that many new comers will benefit through this course and even in the near future we expect many youngsters especially for the people those who are interested in music to come forward and this type of course and avail the opportunities that the government is providing for the youngsters and for the people of Nagaland," said Kasheto Kiba, a teacher.
"I had some practical knowledge but after coming to this special Crash Course I benefited by learning some theoretical aspects of sound management. And one definite thing I learn here is that I never knew how to solder leads and guitar wire but now coming here I even know how to solder my leads," said A.

Many youth from Nagaland are now opting for music as a full time job. And such workshops and events will go a long way in helping them in their chosen careers. (ANI)
