Nagpur, May 27 (ANI): Supporters and party workers celebrated the birthday of haratiya Janata Party (BJP) President Nitin Gadkari here on Friday.
Party workers shouted slogans wishing long life to the leader and even a cut an enormous cake to celebrate his birthday.
Gadkari thanked his supporters for their love and wishes.
"I am blessed to receive the love of the party workers. I offer my gratitude to all the people, who have wished me today," he said.
Talking about his future goals, Gadkari said he was working along with several other BJP leaders for generating job opportunities for the unemployed.
"We will surely work on the commitments we have made to the people. We would work or the employment of the unemployed and upliftment of the poor farmers. I am sure we would be able to reach our goals," he added.
Gadkari, who was born on May 27, 1957, also served as the Minister of Public Works Department (PWD) of the Government of Maharashtra from 1995 to 1999. (ANI)
