Chennai, May 27 (ANI): Tamil superstar Rajnikanth, who is presently undergoing treatment at Chennai's Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre (SRMC), will be flying to Singapore for further treatment on Friday night.
According to reports, Rajnikanth has been booked as a 'wheelchair passenger' on a Singapore Airlines flight. His wife Latha and daughters Aishwarya and Soundarya are expected to accompany him.
The 60-year-old actor was admitted to hospital on May 13 for a recurrent respiratory infection and gastrointestinal problems.
Doctors at the hospital have been maintaining that Rajni is recovering well, and is cheerful.
Rajnikanth, who suffered from viral fever and exhaustion recently, was admitted to the SRMC after being discharged from another hospital where he had been treated for allergic bronchitis and viral fever.
He had suffered from exhaustion on April 29, the first day of the shoot of his new period film 'Rana', co-starring Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone. (ANI)
