Kathmandu, Apr. 12 (ANI): Nepal Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal visited the Manmohan Memorial Hospital on Tuesday to meet Energy Minister Gokarna Bista, a day after he was attacked by an unknown gang and severely injured.
Bista was attacked at his residence in Samakhusi last night and sustained injuries on his head and arms. Nepal News quoted doctors, as saying that he is out of danger.
Talking to reporters, Khanal said the gang that had attacked Bista was the same that had been terrorising people across the country.
He said security agencies would find the attackers and take action against them.
Kathmandu Police has said that they have arrested eight persons in connection with the attack. Kathmandu Police Chief, Superintendent (SP) Pushkar Karki, said police were close to identifying the attackers. (ANI)
