Gaya, Mar 15 (ANI): Armed Maoists destroyed two mobile towers and burnt a generator room near the Dumaria police station in Bihar's Gaya District late last night.
According to sources, over 50 ultras triggered dynamite blasts to blow up the towers of the BSNL and a private telecom operator.
They also burnt the generator room of a private telecom firm.
In another incident, the Maoists forcibly stopped eight trucks and two buses and set them ablaze near the Bihar-Jharkhand border in the Barachatti Police Station area.
According to police officers, the drivers and cleaners were dragged out before their vehicles were torched. It was also reported that Maoists shot and injured a driver, who was admitted to hospital.
Raids were on in the area to track down the miscreants. (ANI)
