The recent price hike notification by Xioami has increased the price of 6 Redmi phones in India. As a result of the update, Redmi 9, Redmi 9 Power, Redmi 9 Prime, Redmi Note 10T 5G, and Redmi Note 10S are available with an increase of Rs. 500, while Redmi 9i has got a hike of Rs. 300.
The price hike has already started to reflect on e-commerce websites like Amazon, Flipkart and Xiaomi own Mi.com. The update in price is also applicable to offline retail stores across the country.
The Redmi 9 pricing in India has been raised from Rs. 8,999 to Rs. 9,499 for the 4GB + 64GB storage option. This results in an Rs. 500 price rise. The change, however, will not affect the pricing of the Redmi 9 4GB + 128GB storage variant, which remains at Rs. 9,999.
The pricing of the Redmi 9 Power in India has amounted to Rs. 11,499 for the 4GB + 64GB version. Costing Rs. 500 more than the previous pricing of Rs. 10,999. However, no changes have been made to the pricing of the 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB versions, which remain at Rs. 11,999 and Rs. 13,499, respectively.
Xiaomi has also upped the Redmi 9 Prime's price by Rs. 500. It raises the price of the 4GB + 64GB variant to Rs. 10,499 from Rs. 9,999. The 4GB + 128GB option, on the other hand, stays unchanged at Rs. 11,999.
The Redmi 9i cost in India has been increased from 8,499 to Rs. 8,799 for the 4GB + 64GB variant. This is an Rs. 300 increase. However, the 4GB + 128GB variant is still available at the same price of Rs. 9,299.
The Redmi Note 10T 5G, which was introduced in July and had an Rs. 500 price increase just last month, is also on the list of increased prices. The phone is now available at Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant, a Rs. 500 increase from the previous Rs. 14,499. The Redmi Note 10T 5G 6GB + 128GB model now costs Rs. 16,999, which is Rs. 500 higher than the previous pricing.
The Redmi Note 10S is the last model on the list, priced at Rs. 16,499 for the 6GB + 128GB version. It was formerly available for Rs. 15,999. However, the price of its 4GB + 128GB version stays constant at Rs. 14,999.
The latest notification comes after RealMe, another Chinese smartphone phone brand capturing the budget mobile market, along with Xiaomi, increased the price of its key smartphone models, just last week.
