Despite following Covid-19 protocols there is recent surge in new Covid-19 cases in the country. To check the spread of the Coronavirus, the state governments released new Covid-19 rules for the travellers travelling to Delhi, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Bengal. Travellers should be aware of these rules and guidelines before travelling to these states.
We have seen recent spike in the fresh Covid-19 cases in the six states in the country including Karnataka, Maharashtra and Delhi. States governments in the country tightened the travel rules; still there are lot of confusion among people about the Covid-19 reports.
Travellers travelling to Karnataka, Maharashtra and West Bengal must have Aarogya Setu application installed and running on their smartphone. If you are planning to travel to these states you should installed Aarogya Setu application in advance. The Aarogya Setu application installation on the traveller’ smartphone is a must for travel.
If you are travelling to to Delhi, Karnataka, Maharashtra and West Bengal, you must have Aarogya Setu application installed on your smartphone.
Here are the mandatory guideline states wise:
Delhi:
All the passengers travelling to Delhi must have Aarogya Setu application installed on their smartphone.
It is mandatory for passengers travelling from Maharashtra, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala and Maharashtra (between February 27 to March 15) to have Covid-19 negative report from an ICMR approved lab.
Karnataka:
All passengers travelling to Karnataka must have Aarogya Setu application installed on their mobile phone.
It is mandatory that all passengers arriving from Kerala and Maharashtra must have a coronavirus negative report from an ICMR approved lab.
Maharashtra:
All passengers travelling to Maharashtra should have Aarogya Setu application installed on their mobile phone.
It is mandatory for passenger travelling from NCR/DELHI, Kerala, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Goa to carry and show negative RT-PCR report on arrival.
West Bengal:
All passengers travelling to West Bengal must have Aarogya Setu application installed on their mobile phone.
All passengers travelling from Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka and Telangana to West Bengal must carry negative RT - PCR test report. Passengers arriving in West Bengal must fill and submit the declaration form through Sandhane App, which developed by H&FW Department of West Bengal.
