Though we have some interesting lineup for September also, but it's good to keep a tap on the devices that are on the verge of landing in the market.
While we had Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on one hand, we had the LG V10 also. In all, August did see a massive release. Most of these devices have been launched in their respective home countries and even across the globe. However, a few are getting some upgrades and will soon be hitting major markets like India.
So, let us have a look at the top releases in the month that went by.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7
Well, the device might have been recalled but we can't overrule the fact that it was indeed a great device – worth enough to take over Apple's iPhone 7. It came with Quad HD display, Snapdragon 820, 6GB RAM, waterproof feature and many fascinating features. But sadly, the battery ditched big time. However, it's been worked upon and we can expect it bounce back.

They only differ in terms of size, other features are the same. It had Snapdragon 820, Exynos 8890 and 4GB RAM. Its Quad HD Super AMOLED display was also great, and finish is simply amazing.

HTC 10
The HTC 10 has much good software on top of Android and houses 5.2-inch Quad HD display with Snapdragon 820 along with 4GB of RAM. Its performance too has been very good and is surely a decent investment to make.
Google Nexus 5X
Nexus 5X comes with Snapdragon 808 and 2GB of RAM, and is updated to get latest Android 7.0 Nougat. It even has one of the best cameras one can find in Android devices.
LG V10

Xperia X Performance
Last but surely not the least on this list, we have the Sony Xperia X Performance which was unveiled at IFA 2016. It has Snapdragon 820 and a 23-MP Sony camera, Xperia X Performance is a 5.0-inch powerhouse. The device is decent on performance and can offer a good user experience.
