It is known to all how Niantic Labs' had earlier banned users from downloading Pokemon Go' app, as they were found downloading apps which helped them in cheating this highly popular game.

But the latest reports state that the ban has been revoked owing to the fall in the game's popularity and user base. While many may detest this move, it has actually brought a relief for those seeking a second chance to continue the game thrill.

The Turnaround

Citing issues with users taking on to wrong ways to catch Pokemon, the game makers had decided to ban users who were found downloading such apps for cheating. However, the ban had to be rethought upon as Pokemon Go' users saw a great decline from its peak 25 million users on July 14. As per the Mobile data intelligence firm, Sensor Tower, around 75 million downloads were traced on the iOS and and Android platforms within 19 days of the Pokemon Go' release. The game got a thundering response, and edge popular games such as the Candy Crush, Candy Crush Soda Saga, Candy Crush Jelly Saga, Color Switch, Agar.io, and the Piano Tiles 2. But this number soon saw a downfall when the ban was imposed.

While revoking the ban, Niantic Labs issues a statement stating that the ban will be revoked for users who downloaded such unauthorized apps without really knowing the consequences. However, with this, they have even claimed that the same users will hold the chance of getting banned if they are found downloading such apps again in the near future.

The statement from Niantic Labs develop talked as to how few players didn't really realize that the add-on map apps did a lot more than merely showing them the Pokemon. They further stated that every end-user app is likely to be used as a compilation tool by concerned app creator, imperceptibly collecting and sharing data to app maker with or exclusive of the awareness of the user.

They added that unban is applicable only to the users who downloaded the apps without any intention of using them for any other purpose. But for those who now the working pattern of these third-party apps, the ban would exist.

And those who are now allowed to play Pokemon Go' will have to abide by the new rules, any violation will lead to a permanent ban.

The Release In India, China, And South Korea

The highly popular Pokemon Go is accessible in nearly 80 countries, counting more than a few Asian countries such as Japan, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Laos, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines Thailand, Vietnam and Taiwan.

However, despite the huge popularity worldwide, the game is yet not available in the major gaming markets of the world, namely; India, China and South Korea.

There was news about the game releasing in Indian and Chine along with many other countries in the month of August, but we heard nothing further. The game needs the synchronized geospatial technologies as well as Google's map data to play. This is why it is assumed that the game may not release in South Korea, as the country has prohibited the use of unrestricted map data from abroad. But it is not clear as to why the release is taking so much time in India and China, where there are no such problems.

We wonder if by the time the game reaches the country, it apparently loses all hype and user interest. Let us see when does the game finally sees daylight in India!
