15 people were killed and 35 got injured when a suicide bomber blew himself up at a funeral in the Dora district in southern Baghdad. The people were mourning when the bomb detonated.
Iraq is witnessing its worst eruption of violence in recent months. Thousands have been killed in different attacks across the country.
Four men were killed when unidentified gunmen opened fire at a shop in the Adhamiya district in the Iraqi capital, a police source said.
In another attack, two young men were shot dead by gunmen in the Mashtil area of the city.
Two policemen were killed and two others wounded when a roadside bomb struck their patrol in Eaid village near Mosul city, some 400 km north of here, a police source said.
At least 51 people were injured when a car bomb exploded near the directorate of education in central Kirkuk, 250 km north of Baghdad.
Five policemen were injured when a suicide bomber attacked their patrol in western Kirkuk, he added.
The UN Assistance Mission for Iraq said earlier this month that almost 5,000 civilians were killed and 12,000 others injured in Iraq from January to August this year.
