A day after World Elders Abuse Awareness Day, the APPOLO Clinic organised a special camp at its Rohini Center in New Delhi on June 16, which provided medical facilitations and useful consultation to hundreds of people. The camp was organized from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday.
Large numbers of people were seen attending the camp and taking consultation from the doctors. People were also seen taking their medical check up and test for which doctors and medical staffs were seen assisting them.
"Apollo is a brand name and people have faith in this name, hence the camp became a huge success as large numbers of people have attended the camp in spite of rain," said Devendra Gupta from Laughter Club.
"Such camp should be organized in every 15-20 days as more and more people would come to know about the camp and will get benefited," said Dr. Rakesh Kr Jha.
"This camp has been organized with an objective to make people aware of health general issues coming with increasing as. A general check up would help them reduce the risk of any type of ailments," said Dr. Arun Jain.
The major limelights of the camp were free of cost consultation from famous doctors including physicians, gynecologists, psychologists, bone and joint specialists and physiotherapists. In addition to that, the camp conducted a patient education programme during those hours.
The facility of different tests like Blood Pressure, B.M.I, Blood Sugar were available free of cost while tests like uric acid, pulmonary (lung) function, FAT analysis and E.C.G were available at the camp in minimal charges.
