It is painful to see hairs on your comb, towel and pillow for everyone and is an indication that your hair needs more attention then you are giving.

Reasons of hair loss range from genetics to aging to diseases to stress to poor diet. Hair loss is hereditary in most of the case i.e. passed from one generation to other.

Almost 40-50% of the person (both men and women) in the world faces the problem of Hair fall. Though there are no methods available that can stop the hair loss permanently or 100%, there are many ways that can help a person reduce the hair loss to minimum level.

Here are 10 simple ways to reduce Hair Fall:

  1. Major reason for hair fall is an unhealthy diet. Most of the people today, because of their hectic schedule and busy life don't give much attention to their food habits and meal-timings. Hair needs a nutritious diet to stay strong and healthy. People must include wheat, oats, barley, maize, green peas, beans and brown rice. These food items are rich in protein and help make your hair tissues and hair roots stronger. Maintain a perfect meal timing and not eat whenever you feel hungry. Imbalanced diet is as responsible for hair loss as an unhealthy diet.
  1. Second big reason for hair fall is stress. Most of the people who take a lot of stress report the problem of hair loss. Work load and hectic lifestyle leads to stress and that leads to hair fall. Anger is another major factor of hair loss. Try to be happy, change your routine once in a month, meditate, perform yoga and breathing exercise that can relieve stress.
  1. People facing hair loss can opt for a regular hair massage (once in a week) using coconut, almond, neem, amla or olive oil. These oils are nutritious, help in restoring the lost shine of hair, strengthens the roots of hair, cleans the scalp and also give required nourishment to the hair. Lukewarm oil should be used for hair massage.
  1. People having hair loss problem must avoid taking hot water baths. Hot water makes the roots of the hair weak and at the same time opens the pores leading to hair fall.
  1. People with long hair, especially women must use wide hairbrush to comb their hair as it reduces the chances of breaking the hair. They should comb there slowly and not roughly. Combing on wet hair should always be avoided on everyone.
  1. Females having long hair must not tie their tresses in a bun.
  1. If you are facing hair loss problem or have thin hair avoid indulging in a lot of hair styling. Changing hairstyles quickly weaken hair and roots.
  1. Constant heating and drying hair using the hair dryer, hot curlers, hot brushes and other products also leads fragility that can ultimately lead to hair fall.
  1. Though it is hard but people must avoid dyeing their hair as much as possible. Even if you are dyeing your hair, keep a gap of 6 to 8 weeks in dyeing your hair.
  1. Alcohol, Cigarette and drugs also leads to hair fall. One must avoid its intake as much as possible.
