According to researchers at Stanford University, passive smoking has no clear link to lung cancer and there is no significant relationship between the cancer and exposure to second-hand smoke.
However, there is still a strong association between smoking and lung cancer.
The study was published in the latest Journal of the National Cancer Institute.
