Despite the fact that cold season has knocked the capital and it should be the indication for checking the dengue cases, the number for dengue cases is on rise. Certainly the data is astonishing, as there was stability in the cases in the capital in last some days.
According to sources, the number of people testing positive for the dengue virus in Delhi increased to 4,727 from 4,618 on Nov 4.
The vector borne disease claimed six lives, but no fatality was reported in the past week.
An additional 57 cases have been reported from other areas of the National Capital Region.
Most of the dengue cases in Delhi were registered in the north corporation zone (1,985) followed by the south zone (1,405) and east zone (1,208).
However MCD and other concerned agencies have taken some serious notes last month when it was on massive increase in the capital. Even Delhi government and MCD which have been ruled by Congress and BJP, has started blame game for the rising cases of Dengue.
